Cough And Cold Season – How To Keep Yourself Healthy
Colds and coughs are just about everywhere right now. With the
weather turning a little cooler and people taking to their houses more
and also with the kids being at school and possibly bringing home those
nasty bugs from school, how can you keep you and your family healthy
this season?
First, I would advocate eating a healthy diet of all the food groups
is a must. Both the United States and Canada a daily dose of vitamins
for everyone in your family. Since most of us are so busy and on the go
so often that we may not always have a chance to
eat properly, so vitamins are a good additive to the daily diet.
Also, if you find yourself getting sick every other week or from
every little bug that your child brings home, you might want to look
into an ‘Immune Boaster’. These can be purchased at your local health
food store. Talk to your physician and the health food store worker
before deciding if this is right for you.
What can you do if you get a cold or the flu? Stay home from
work. What is the point of infecting everyone else that you work
with? Apart from this, get plenty of rest, drink lots of warm fluids,
and take care of yourself. Now is the time to spoil yourself a
little. You deserve it after all. Everyone needs you healthy!
