Real Life Workouts
Ok, so you get up at 6:00 am, grab some breakfast, drop the kids of
at daycare/school then you run to work in the morning, you just had a
meeting, grab some quick lunch then run to another meeting, pick up the
kids, whip something up quick for dinner, then maybe through in a few
loads of laundry. Exercise, are you kidding? Who has time for that in
today’s busy world? But by fitting in small daily bits of exercise, you
will be in shape in no time flat.
Yet, there are ways that you can sneak in some exercise with out too
much pain or time usage but it will still be beneficial to your overall
health. Little tricks like parking a ways away from the entrance to the
supermarket, walk around the mall, take the stairs instead of the
elevator or escalator, go for a walk on your lunch hour – fit in some
sort of walking exercise into your routine on a daily basis.
Find a work out buddy, someone that will keep you accountable for you and your exercise.
After grabbing that can off the shelf, do a couple of bicep curls.
Sneak stretches into your daily routine, especially if you sit at a desk all day.
If you can do aerobic exercises, great! Do you have some sort of
exercise machine at home? If you do, you can always multi task, listen
to a book on tape or read while you are peddling away those miles.
So, you see, if you put your mind to it, there are little ways of
sneaking in small bits of exercise into your day to day routine and
before you know it, you will be fit and in great shape!
